What topper cap sizes do you offer?
We offer a variety of cap sizes. The bigger the cap, the more coverage of thinning on the scalp. I have a video on how to measure your head for the best cap size for you.
How much hair density do your pieces have?
The typical density of my hair is about 120-130%. If for some reason the hair feels too thick, you can always have it thinned out or layered by your stylist.
How do I know what length to buy?
Measure your own hair from the center middle part down to the tips of your hair. I would suggest adding 2 inches so that you can get it trimmed and it will match your hair length. Or you can order it as long as you want if you want longer hair in general. It is better to order a piece longer than your bio hair than shorter.
Can I change the part?
The beauty of a silk top is that you can change the part. Once you wash it, you just brush it over, then blow dry it down when it is damp for the part to hold. Once it’s done, it won’t change until the next time you wash it and move it.
How big is the silk part?
My toppers have a 4 x 4.5” silk part.
What kind of hair do you use?
I use the highest grade Human Hair. It is frizz-free, buttery soft, and will last a long time (up to 2 years) with the proper care. Its texture is straight and fine. I do not use hair from the deceased.
Can you perm the hair?
You will have to take the hair to your stylist to be permed as we do not offer this service at this time.
What are the care instructions?
I highly suggest getting the piece trimmed when you receive it. It is not necessary but will help with the longevity of the piece as I send them uncut. Brush it before and after wearing.
Hairpieces can be washed about every 4 weeks. Be sure to use a sulfate-free shampoo when washing and any conditioner is fine, just make sure to wash it out well so it does not leave a sticky film on the hair which will make it feel like it needs a wash sooner.
I also suggest using some kind of conditioning oil (Moroccan or Argan) on the end of the hair. Since the hair is not coming from your scalp, it is not receiving the proper oils that our bio hair gets. I suggest applying the oil to the ends of the hair every few days or when it starts to feel dry. One product I love is Ghost Oil by Verb Products.
In the winter, the hair may tangle at the nape of the neck due to scarves and sweaters. I suggest buying a leave-in conditioner spray to use every few days before brushing. It will help. It's a 10 leave-in conditioner is a great option.
You can also deep condition your piece every 3-4 washes when you feel like the hair needs it. But again, make sure you rinse out all of the product.
Can I use heat on the hair?
Yes! Curling irons, straightening irons, and blow dryers are all okay. Medium-high heat is best for the longevity of the hair.
How do I know what color to order?
I have pictures on my Instagram page of the different colors I offer. Since this hair is a topper, it goes over the top of your bio hair so it does not necessarily have to perfectly match your bio hair. That's the beauty of a topper!
What is your return/exchange policy?
I believe there should be a return policy when you order hair online as you cannot know if it will work for you until you see it in person. Please read all the information below carefully before buying as there are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.
In-stock orders have a 3 day return policy. There is a 10% restocking fee on all returns. The restocking fee covers the inspection of the return, the rewash and the reset of the hair as well as restocking it to my website. Toppers should be sent back in the original condition sent. No cuts, coloring, or adjustment to the cap or clips. Lace on wigs must be uncut. Brush the hair and close the clips before returning.

With your RETURN TRACKING NUMBER BY DAY 3.
Day 3 is the last day to send me the tracking number. If I did not receive the tracking number in my email on Day 3, the hair will be shipped back to the buyer at the buyer’s expense ($10 ship fee in the USA, $40 international ship fee). NO EXCEPTIONS!
Please make sure to insure the value of the package but do not use a signature service on return packages as it will delay your refund up to 2 weeks.
Refunds will be processed within 5 business days of being returned. And then it will depend on your bank as to when the funds/credit are actually made available on your account.

Custom Topper or Wig Orders do not have a refund option for change of mind/color/size etc. A custom piece is a product exclusively made with a particular client in mind. If Wanderlust Dream Hair alters a stock piece at the customer's request (e.g. an added color) this is also classified as a 'Custom Order'.
If you return a piece in exchange for another piece you can use the 10% restock fee towards the new piece. There is a $10 reshipping fee on exchanges (in the US). If the second item is returned there is a restocking fee on the second item. I do not do 3rd time exchanges.
All orders are fully insured. Most packages will require a signature for the safety of both parties (especially PO boxes and addresses with a unit number). If you are not home at the time of delivery, you can schedule a redelivery or pick it up from your post office. If your package is never picked up from the post office, they will treat it as abandoned after about 2 weeks and will ship back to me. We are NOT responsible for abandoned packages being sent back to us, in case it gets lost.
If you plan to travel or will not be home at the time the package will be delivered, it will be treated as a final sale if not returned on day 3. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Do you ship internationally? What is the shipping fee and will I need to pay customs/ duties?
I offer 2 shipping methods for international shipments: USPS Priority International and USPS Priority International Express. You can see the cost at checkout for your specific country.
Returns from international countries do NOT include shipping fees.
I cannot control your countries custom duties charges. For the safety of both parties, I must insure my toppers. I cannot and will not mark it as a gift. If you know someone coming from the USA, I can have it shipped to them (3 day return policy is still in effect though). Consider the $40-60 (this is the typical amount, each country is different) extra custom fees paid as part of the topper cost that you will have to pay once received. Please note, if you decline a package due to customs fees, international shipping costs are non-refundable and the 10% restock fee still applies to all orders I mail out and receive back. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Please do not take the risk of buying a topper only to decline it in the case your package gets chosen to pay customs fees, as in the case it gets lost, we are NOT held responsible and refunds will NOT be granted until the hair is returned.

Do you do custom orders?
Please email me at and I can see if I can help you with a custom order. All custom orders require a $200 non-refundable deposit and are a final sale (no returns or exchanges).
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! Please email me and let me know which topper you would like and I will send you an invoice through PayPal for your initial payment. You have 24 hours from when I send the invoice to pay the 25% deposit and then I will put the topper on hold for you. Then you can pay as often as you like, and once the balance is paid, I will mail the topper to you.
*Please note: As the product is being held for you, if at any point you wish to cancel your order, you will still be subject to the same 10% restocking fee that applies to a normal sale.
